Wendy was born in West Sussex, England, and there she was raised, danced and played with guinea-pigs. She left home to study Medicine at Birmingham University, where she met her husband and became a doctor. They now live in a little village in Herefordshire, having raised two wonderful sons.

She discovered her love for story telling not long after her youngest started school. And if you were to ask her what made her make the switch, she would tell you quite simply, that it started with a dream.
