About

Mr. Davis was born, raised, and educated in Southern California. His early years were spent in the artist colony of Laguna Beach. He was active in sports, including football, baseball, track, and surfing. His father loved baseball and that love for the game is something Phil enjoys, and has passed that love for the game to his wife and daughters.

In 1980 he married Barbara Casillas and they began their married life in Santa Rosa, California. They have three daughters, and four grand children.

Phil pursued a career in Architecture. As an architect, he sought opportunities in the United States, and several locations around the world, which led him, and his family to Hawaii.

After closing out an architectural practice in Hawaii, Phil took on new challenges. He was recruited by a forensics firm in Kapolei, Hawaii, and spent four years using his knowledge of how structures are built, to determining why they fail in disasters.

Always fascinated with technical artistic endeavors, Phil took to photography, and over twenty years, he documented many of the unique qualities found in Hawaii.
