I am a retired mathematics and science teacher. For the last few years of my teaching career, I taught students with English as an additional language.

I live in beautiful Mid Wales with my husband and our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Lily and Raffa.

War Torn was my debut novel, and it has been in the works for a long time. I wrote it over thirty years ago and was told then that there was no interest in WW2 novels. I put it in my wardrobe and forgot about it until my daughter asked to read it. When I looked, it was better than I remembered, and I spent two years getting it developmentally edited, line edited and proofread as well as editing it numerous times myself.

So here it is, and here am I at the ripe old age of 74, writing and publishing my novels and thoroughly enjoying myself.

War Torn Books 2 and 3 have already been published, along with a standalone Time Slip Love Story, which I also recently published on Amazon and is titled Fragments of Time. It's set around the village I used to live in and is very different from War Torn, being a much lighter read.

I am presently working on a Tudor/Stuart novel, which, due to the amount of research, is taking longer than expected. I plan to publish that early next year.

Thanks to the lovely people who have left reviews of my work. It's wonderful to get reviews, particularly the good ones. It's brilliant knowing that people are enjoying reading your books, and it's good to know as an author if you get things wrong, too.
