JORGE PARDO is an architect and musician who has conducted extensive
research on the polyrhythmic developments of African music in the New World.
Early on, Pardo formed his group "Los Tropicales" playing piano and vibraphone,
and later as a percussionist, he has performed and recorded in Salsa, Soul and Jazz
ensembles with the likes of Jimmy Ruffin, Archie Shepp, and the Brookside Jazz
