About
On December 5th, 1945 a squadron of planes flying near the Bermuda Triangle simply disappeared. One minute they were there and then the next they had vanished into the ether. Other equally strange occurrences have happened through the years in that area. Most of them have never been fully explained, if at all. But what if there is a grand plan behind it all?
Master storyteller, James S, Parker delves into that possibility in the first of a trilogy of sci-fi adventure books. Infinity’s Gateway, due out on Morgan James Books in January of 2021, takes the reader on a white knuckle adventure ride straight into the unknown.
The story begins in 1945 and then jumps ahead to present time, the pentagon, and a startling event that occurs roughly 125 miles off the east coast of Florida. Documented and photographed by our satellites, the whole event only lasts for a few minutes. However, the pentagon cannot determine what it was. The event does not appear to be a natural phenomenon, and the amount of energy it radiated is multiples beyond the capabilities of anyone on earth. This cannot be ignored and it is decided to have it quietly investigated.
The USS Eclipse, along with Commander Brett Colton and heroine, Captain Casey Garrett, is tasked with the investigation. The Eclipse, a completely refurbished WWII destroyer, is known as being an oceanographic research vessel. In reality, it is equipped with the most cutting-edge technology available; more so than any other ship in U.S. Navy. It’s most unique feature is Argos, a one of a kind, super-powered computer system with advanced AI capabilities. Unfortunately, after weeks at sea, they cannot find a thing. It is decided that after one more week, if nothing is found, the mission will be scrubbed.
Then, the unthinkable happens and the Eclipse and the reader are transported into another dimension filled with long-ago extinct animals and futuristic flying machines and medicinal miracles.
